Makeup trends for Spring 2015

Lips

•  Dark Berry Cherry lips

These wine-stained lips are super super trendy this spring, you will definitely be noticed with this look.

• The Coral lips

This year if you are tired of red lipsticks, because maybe they don't suit you or your style, there is another option: bright Coral/Orange lips. You can wear them and I promise you won't look weird or out of style!

 

 

Eyes

•  Graphic Eyeliner

Blackest-black pencil eyeliner was a must-have for this year's runway, so if you don't already have it, pick it up and start playing with it! You can do so much with it and it will make your eye pop and the good thing about it is that it is easy to use!

 

 

 

• Mauve Eye makeup

Mauve is the new brown, because it was spotted so many times on the runway shows. This levander color makes your eyes pop, it can be used as a perfect daytime look, but you have to be a little bit careful with it, if you don't want to look like you had a blackeye.

 

• Blue Eye makeup 

 Bright and bold blue eye still takes the center stage in the array of spring/ summer 2015 makeup trends, becoming an ideal alternative for all those, who seem not to like the new mauve eye makeup trend.

 

•  Expressive Eyelashes

As the majority of spring/ summer 2015 makeup trends reveal eyes are the focus of almost any makeup style. So if the makeup artist didn't use nothing extraordinary with the eyeliner or the eyeshadow, they used it with mascara!

 

 

So that is it, of course no matter what, the biggest trend of the Spring was and is natural look. Because nothing more is beautiful and charming than natural and fresh face.

April Haul '15

 

Hey guys! It's been such a long time since I last posted here and I feel  guilty and bad about it. I mean last post was in 2014... And now it is fifth month of 2015... I'm really sorry that I haven't uploaded anything and I don't even know the reason. All I know is that school was absolutely a nightmare, we had tons and tons of tests, egzams and other stuff, plus I was in that stage of life where I lost all my motivation and idas to do something. So okay, I think that's enough of rambling, let's get on with the things that I've got!

Also I want to mention that my birthday was on April 11th (yay for me!) So I've got presents and some of them are featured in here, because I used them soo much.

Ok this one is random but:

 

I''ve got Nike Air Force! These are high-tops I think, or the mid-ones, I don't really know, but they have that strap on the top, that I know the low ones don't have. They are really comfortable and I've been wanting those for a really long time. From the photo it looks like they were worn a lot, but I promise, when I took that I photo I only worn them once, I guess it's because of shadows and stuff.

From the beauty products:

 

I've bought Superdrug's exfoliating mud mask in "Superberry". I don't really have an opinion about it yet, because I only used it once. But I don't really expect anything super from it, because it was cheap and it didn't even harden on my face. But I guess we will see.

Bought in "Drogas".

 And Creightons "Vanilla & Macadamia Cocoon" hand cream is sooo good <3 I guess the best thing about it is the smell... It is just so sweet, cozy and warm. But you will probably not gonna like it, if you're not a fan of sweet scents. The cream itself is okay I guess, it quicky absorbs into skin, althrough I don't think that it gives a good amount of moisture to your hands (if that makes any sense). Bought in "Sarma".

 

Syoss "Anti-grease" dry shampoo is average, it makes your hair non greasy for like half and hour, but after that your hair comes back to what it was. I have really oily hair and it really helps me sometimes when I need  to normalize it a little bit, BUT its biggest minus is that is not suitable for people with dark hair AT ALL. I have dark brown hair and when I sprayed it on it left a white streak on my hair and it didn't even blend. So I don't think I'm going to repurchase it.

I also bought some makeup

Bourjois "Healthy mix serum" foundation in "53 Light Beige". My Maybelline BB cream was almost empty and I really needed new foundation so my mom's friend (who is MUA) recommended me this one and I also read good reviews about it online and found out that it is a dupe for Chanel "Aqua Vitalumiere" so I immediatly was interesed. The lady that worked in Sarma matched me with shade"Vanilla", but I thought that summer is near and I'm gonna tan really easily so I bought it in shade darker. It feels really nice on your skin, the coverage is light, but you can build it up a little bit, the smell is really nice and fruity (but not overwhelming), it stays for quite a while. I really really recommend it.

Bourjois "CC eye cream" concealer is very good also. I have it in the shade "Vanilla", which is one shade lighter than my foundation. This concealer really brightens up your under eye area, but it doesn't have a lot of coverage. My under eye circles are really dark and I noticed that it does cover them a little bit, but not that much, that it makes them invincible, which I understand, because it is a light coverage product and my circles are really really dark so I don't think anything can cover them.

Rimmel "Stay Matte" in "001 Transparent" powder is my holy grail powder ever. I have normal skin and in the spring or summer I reaaally get oily and sweaty, so this powder is my life saver. It sets your makeup, makes you matte for a really long time, it doesn't give you that "mask"effect, where it looks like you have tons of makeup caked up on your face.

Essence "Eyebrow designer" pencil in "04 Blonde". My friend always raves about this eyebrow pencil so I thought that I need to try it and see it myself. I didn't plan on buying it soon, but I was browsing through "Drogas" and I saw that it was on sale and it was incredibly cheap, it didn't even cost 2 euros... My eyebrows are darker than this color, but I bought a lighter shade so I can build it up and it would match my natural eyebrow color, instead of just buying darker shade and make my eyebrows 5 shades darker than what they really are.

Nyx "Mega shine" lip gloss in "LG 129 Beige". I actually got this gloss for free, it was a gift, because I purchased 3 or more items in "Sarma". I love this lip gloss, because it isn't sticky, it feels really nice on your lips, it smels really really good and the brush is soft which makes it easy to apply the product on the lips.

 

From the accesories I've got a set of six necklaces (there were two chokers also) from H&M "I love Coachella" line. I absolutely love them. I always layer them, they match with everything and they look really nice on me.

So I think that's it for this post, I've got a lot more stuff that I bought/got, but I didn't post them all here, because this post would be a mile long. From the first picture you can see that I also got Shkertik bracelet, sunglasses, watch and other stuff. Also this month I bough a lot of clothes but I didn't feel like posting them on here.

What I got for Christmas 2014!

Hello my lovelies again!

First of all, merry Christmas (even though they passed) or just happy holidays!

Well I've been gone for about 10 days, but now I'm back and I'm back with a new post!

As you all know Christmas just passed and I just had to take the oppurtunity and write a post about what I got for Christmas this year! (as millions other people)

Second of all I want to state some facts:

• I'M NOT IN ANY WAY BRAGGING OR TRYNG TO SHOW OFF
• I couldn't be any more thankful for my friends and family, and I'm so blessed for having them all:)

What I got from my friends

  I changed gifts with my friends before Christmas, so I had them for a longer time so if you see maybe a little less product than it should be, just know that I had tried them:) And don't be shocked of how much gifts I got from my friends. (I changed gifts with 9 people and we had a price range)

Beauty products

 

From left to right we have:

• Fruttini "Milky orange" body spray. 

I knew the smell of this body spray before and I really really liked it, because  it reminded me so much of my childhood vitamins called "Marsiečiai" and I in general like fruity/fresh smell, so it smells exactly like "milky orange":)

You can find it in "Eurokos" stores.

• Avon naturals "Apple blossom" body lotion and shower gel.

The smell of them is really good and fresh (kinda reminds me of apple bonbons)

The shower gel is really nice, it fills up room with apple scent and is nice in general.

The body lotion is kind of opposite to me, it didn't have scent whatsoever and it was kinda hard to squeeze it out of the bottle. But at least it moisturizes your skin <3

• Superdrug "Cacao butter & vanilla" body lotion.

The smell of this lotion is really nice and sweet, but I haven't really tried it out, so I can't tell you much about it:( But if you like sweet and rich smells, you'll love it!

You can buy it in any "Drogas" store.

• Bioten "Skin moisture" cleansing gel.

This gel is really refreshing, it kinda feels like it is cooling your skin. It is good if you want to remove your makeup and just use it for face wash. It certainly doesn't help you with acne or breakouts, it is basically to refresh and cool your skin after a long day:)

• Wellnes & Beauty shower gel

This shower gel has a rich rich scnt and textur, it is like cream shower gel. The smell can be overwhelming for some people, because it is very sweet and has strong vanilla scent. It moisturizes your skin well. I don't use it every time, only when I feel "fancy" and I just want to pamper and treat myself:)

 

 Garnier Fructis "Miraculous oil"

Oh my god I can not tell you how much I love and adore this product. Hands down the best hair product I have tried for my hair. At first I thought, that it would be just another overrated simple hair oil. BUT OH MY GOD HOW WRONG I WAS... The smell is really REALLY good, the bottle form makes it easy to get best amount of oil to your hair. You can put it on damp hair, before blowdrying them or on dry hair everyday. When I put it in the middle of my hair and the ends I immediately felt the difference. It gave my hair volume, softness, untangle, make them smell really good for a long time and in general made my hair look like silk.

Definitely recommend it for every type of hair.

Ok for lipsticks and lip balms I had written another post so you can read it there and I'm just gonna write their names (I just want to save your time;)

• Essence longlasting lipsticks in "07 natural beauty" and "09 wear berries"

• Avon Colortrend "peachy dream"

• AA "Love & Kiss" clear lipgloss

Ok, for makeup I got:

•  Essence "liquid ink" eyeliner

  This eyeliner is my first one I have ever owned and I don't have any bad for it:) Maybe I would like eyeliner like felt-tip, because I think it would be more easier to apply. I don't wear it in public, so I can't tell you if it stays long or not. The only bad thing about it is that is kinda hard to open, you really have to pull it hard.

•  Essence "Me & my ice cream" cream blush

This blush as it says is creamy texture. Again I haven't tried it so I can't really much about it.:(

Body shop "Vanilla bliss" hand cream

This hand cream has again a sweet and warm scent. It moisturizes your hands very well and makes them smelling really good.

Other stuff

I got this metal reindeer hadband from my friends, as she gave them to all her bestfriends, which I think is very sweet and thoughtful. It looks cute and festive. You can wear it when you just want to have fun or maybe on Christmas dinner. The only thing that I didn't like is that it is too big for my head, when i tilt my head it falls down.

 This makup brush set is also my first one I have ever owned (as you can see I'm new to makeup) There are 10 different brushes. The ones that I don't really like are all eyeshadow brushes, because they are too stiff and it hurts your eye, when you try to put eyeshadow on your eyes. The ones I use are blush brush, angled eyeshadow/eyebrow brush and spooley brush. Of course you can't expect a miracle from brushes that are reallycheap. I noticed hairs falling out of the big foundation brush, eyeshadow brushes were to stiff and hard.

 This beanie is really warm and cozy. It has sequin letters on the front, which really stands out of the crowd. I don't really know how to feel about this beanie. It is not exactly my style and I don't think I would wear it in public. Maybe someday...

 Ahh my beloved cases<3

The min one with a cross and a third one on a top row are from earlier, so they weren't my gifts.

I've received 5 different cases, which is sooo cool. Many people who see my case collection think why do I need that much cases, but I personally think that person could never have too much cases. I don't see it as a protection to my phone, I see it as a accsessory:)

What I got from my family

 So finally I'm done with my friends gifts and I can move on to gifts from my loving family <3

On the Christmas morning I changed gifts with my mom and my dad, which was really exiting.

I got one general gift from both of them.

That is what I received on Christmas morning from my parents. But I'm gonna post all the things I got from my brothers and family together:)

So first I received this package and then after a little box.

I got Dessata detangling hair brush. It looks like a tangle teezer, but it's more square. This hairbrush is really really good. It detangles my hair in one stroke, which my other hair brushes couldn't do, because I have straight hair and they get tangled really really fast. I definetely reccomend this to any hair type person, even supercurly one.

  I got another baby lips! I already had two baby lips lipbalms and now I added a new one <3 It doesn't have a color, but I really like the smell of it and the texture. Basically I love and adore every baby lips out there, 'cause they are really moisturizing and feels nice on lips.

 I got 50Lt Douglas gift card and I really apprecite that, because now I can go buy some makeup that I have been eyeing for ages! I'm planning to buy some nyx pruducts, maybe eyeshadow blending brush adn another baby lips (hehe)

I was sooo excited when I oppened this card and saw that I could finally have a gel manicure<3 I've been wanting gel manicure for a long time now and now I can wait for my nails to grow longer so I could go there and feel happy about my nails <3

 This thing may be a little weird and unusual to somebody, but I feel happy that I got it because my old toothbrush was on his "death bed" and I really needd a new one, also I heard everyone raving about this particular one, saying that it lasts up to a year.

 For sweet stuff  I've got some Bottlcaps candy, Nerds (yumm), raisins covered in milk chocolate, two packs of extra gum (soo good<3), some berry candis in a jar and of course the blk. water, which I've been wanting to try for the longest time! Maybe these candies are usual to where you live, but in Lithuania you can't find them (except berry ones) in local stores, they only sell them in one particular store.

From my first brother I've received this beautiful Body shop limited edition set. The scent is "Glazed apples" which is festive. In the set there are mini shower gel, hand soap, mini body butter and lip balm. The lip balm is very moisturizing and easy to apply, body butter (as always) is very moisturizing, rich and just feels nice on your skin. Th shower gel smells reaaaally amazing and I haven't realy tried soap yet, so there is not much I can tell you about it:(

 AND OMGGGGG, I left the best gift for the last, 'cause when I got it I literally felt so happy (almost started tearing up) because I wasn't expecting this at all. I've been wanting a larger handbag for quite awhile now and everytime I've been to H&M store I've been eyeing it and wanting to buy it. Now I can finaly fit a lot of stuff in it, which would be great for travelling, going to school and going shopping or just basically everywhere. I got it from my second brother.

Lipstick/Lipbalm collection

Hello my lovelies,

I haven't posted anything yet, because I didn't have any ideas of what to write and start my blog with. But today I got some early Christmas presents from my friends and then it hit me that I have kind of a lot lipbalms and lipsticks. So without any hesitation I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures.

 

So the first one on my collection list is this one:

ESSENCE longlasting lipstick

"09 wear berries"

 

This lipstick is hands down my favorite one! I love it so much, because it is not expensive and the quality is sooo good! This particular color  is perfect for fall/winter seasons, because of the dark tone it has. As you can see it has purple, dark pink tones in it.

Bought it in "Drogas".

Overall rating :10/10. Absolutely love it!

 

 Clinique chubby stick lipbalm

"12 oversized orange"

 

This lipbalm is my really goood! I don't even know how much it costs, because my mom bought it to herself, but after one use she didn't like it, so she gave it away to me. And opposite to her I absolutely love it! It has peachy, orange-y color, which reminds me so much of summer. It gives your lips some color and keeps them moisturized.

 Overall rating: 10/10

 

 Lancome Color fever

"100"

 

This lipgloss is hands down the best one I have ever used in my entire life! It gives your lips some color, it gives them shine, but it does not stick them together, that some lipglosses do. The taste of it is uhh-mazing! It applies very easily and smoothly. The bad thing about it is that is almost finished:(

Eos

"Raspberry pomegranate" 

 

Ok, first of all, I was so excited and thrilled to try them, because there was a lot of hype about them. My god-mother went on a trip to the USA and I asked her for an eos, so she got me this. Ok, I was definitely dissapointed and unimpressed when I used it... It left my lips feeling flaky, it felt like there was a layer of wax on my lips. Not the best feeling. But a lot of people can admit that the packaging is very cute and unique.

Overall rating: 8/10

 

  Nivea lip butter

"Caramel cream" 

Eww, I know that the can look gross! It is because I used it a lot... I was surprisd when I saw this lipbalm in my local drugstore, because I have seen people talk about how great it was. So I bought it and omg let me tell you, the smell is incredible... It literally smells like sweet popcorn or baked vanilla cookies. When you put it on, you just want to eat it. Well, for moisturising part, I did not notice anything special. And the thing that I just hate is that it is in the can... I hate when lipbalms came in cans, because you get your fingers dirty, you don't have anything to wipe it off, if your finger is dirty you get some dust on you lips and it is not the best feeling.

  

Overall rating: 7/10

  Avon Colortrend

"peachy sheen" 

 

I haven't used this lipbalm for awhile, so I can't really tell you a lot about it. The packaging is very cute, it is very small so it can be handy if you don't want lipstick that uses up a lot of space. The smell is incredible <3 It smells like strawberries and other red berries. It gives you a little bit of pink color, but nothing too bright.

Overall rating: 9/10

 

Nivea  pure&natural

"olive & lemon" 

 

I have this love/hate relationship with this lipbalm. Sometimes I love it and use it a lot, sometimes I get sick of it and don't want to see it in my eyes. It does a good job at moisturising, but it has a very rich and thick texture and it makes your lips feel greasy. The name of it sounded weird to me at first and I thought, that it was going to stink, but it was much better than I expected it to be.

Overall rating: 6/10

Carmex

 "cherry"

  This lipbalm is really really good! I bought it when I was on a trip in Poland, I felt happy because it was so cheap in there and in Lithuania it is overpriced. There was also a lot of hype about them. It has spf 15 and it has this frezing effect. I was hoping that it would fix my chapped lips, but it didn't... The flavour is cherry, which is my favourite one after berries. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but this lipbalm didn't impress me at all.

Overall rating: 8/10
